Okay few questions for you mama's"

1) Everybody is freaking out when I bend over and the yell at me. Does bending over hurt the baby or my uterus? I know I know but I'm a first time mom!

2) What are the NEEDS to put on my baby shower? My hubby is leavng til I am32 weeks for Army training and my family/friends are giving me a baby shower and wanted to know what to put on it. If anyone knows a website that would be great. Or you veteren mom's tell me the MUST HAVES!!

3) TMI question: After "self pleasing" my uterus cramps (contracts but doesn't hurt) and gets rock hard for a little while. Is that normal. Sometimes after sex too. Just wanna make sure I'm not hurting Isabella.

Thank you ladies your the best!!

I don't know if bending hurts the baby, but I swear my water is going to break every time I do!  It probably puts more pressure on the cervix and uterus than there should be but maybe someone else has a good answer?

Do you have a baby monitor, baby bathtub, lots of towels, washcloths, onsies, clothes, bibs, diapers, carseat, highchair, stroller, bedding, grooming kit, wipes, bottles, dishwasher thingy for nipples, bottle brush, binkies, swing, bouncy chair, etc?  Go register for that kind of stuff!  You can even register online with Target and babies r us.

The contractions are completely normal.  You aren't hurting the baby unless you were told not to have an ****** for any reason.  However, with that said, I still use my doppler after every "whoo-hoo" moment!  LOL!

Bending does not hurt but I usually squat to get things low. I say all the normal things are must haves. The big things are the hardest. I went to Targert and Walmart for my registries and just was scanning about everything. I never have seen all this new stuff since my youngest is almost 11 now. But spit rags, bottles, bibs, onsies, blankets, wash cloths and all those kinds of things were important. I also put in for a lot of diapers.
The after glow contractions are a pain but very normal. Mine usually lets up after about 5 minutes so I worry but not too much.

I like these kinds of questions anyway cause I get to peek too. :)

If you go to babysrus- they have a list of what they suggest and what is most registered for items.  That is not saying you have to register there or get every idea- but we used it for some guidance.

I bend over all the time- so I hope that there isnt a problem there.  I would think if it were a no-no they would tell us that at the Dr's.  I know it is starting to get more uncomfortable to bend but I still can.

I think you have your answer to #3- its normal.
